Are you satisfied with your progress this year?
Now, in the final quarter of the year, emotions are running high.
Many of us are beginning a deep process of self-reflection that autumn usually ushers in.
Self-reflection is a healthy process when your intention is to mine your experiences for wisdom and insight that can empower you to fulfill your purpose with more clarity and confidence.
It's only helpful when you focus on what you intend to create in your life because, as the law of attraction demonstrates,
What you focus on increases.
Beating yourself up with a negative or critical inner dialogue will only kill your momentum, and reinforce false belief that your world is limited.
Life isn't a race to some finish line—your magic moment is NOW!
It's about living in alignment with who you are, and doing your best each day.
So, I've got 3 tips to help you keep your vibration high as you re-center, refocus, and create your gameplan to finish the year strong!
Tip#1: Set An Intention
Before you start creating a new to-do list, or revising your S.M.A.R.T. goals, it's important to set an intention for how you want to FEEL at the end of the year.
Just a refresher, S.M.A.R.T. goals are: Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. But, truth is,
You could move mountains, but if you don't feel good about your life—your achievements won't have much value to you.
So, setting an intention is a pre-cursor for goal-setting to help you ensure that your goals are truly in alignment with your purpose.
If you're clear on how you want to feel, then you'll know what you need to do to cultivate that feeling.
Start by asking yourself some powerful questions, and take a few minutes to journal about each:
What have I achieved so far this year?
Where have I lost focus?
Were the goals I set back in January actually in alignment with my purpose?
What must I do, be, have, or change so that I will feel complete when the year ends?
Tip #2: Take Inspired Action Each Week
At the beginning of every week from now until the end of the year, ask yourself,
"What's 1 THING that I can do this week that'll move me 1 STEP further in the direction of my purpose?"
This doesn't have to be a monumental task, just keep it simple so that you can maintain your momentum.
It's so important to follow through because, when we honor the commitments we make to ourselves, we experience greater self-respect and confidence.
Tip #3: Let Go of What's Holding You Back
"What's 1 THING that I need to LET GO of, so that I can move 1 STEP further in the direction of my purpose?"
Consider how you're currently being affected by the things, people, and situations that are a part of your daily environment.
Are you spending your time, money, and energy on what's most inspiring to you?
Are you surrounded by negative people, gossip, or bad news?
Have you developed habits or beliefs that aren't serving you?
Give yourself permission to apply these 3 tips to your life, and you'll be amazed at what opens up for you.
I can't wait to hear about your results!
