"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."
Self-care is holistic, and although I love to focus on beautiful ways to honor the physical body—today is about the inner game that gives meaning to everything you experience in life.
You get asked all the time, "how are you?" To which you likely reply, "Fine." Today, I encourage you to tap into your heart center and answer truthfully and thoroughly in the privacy of your own journal.
But, first let's talk about why we crossed paths in the first place.
Why You're Here
There are no coincidences nor accidents in my opinion, so if you’re reading this it’s because your energy resonates with this message. You are exactly where you're supposed to be right now.
You’re here because you are a seeker of truth, you don't buy into the status quo, and you see the world differently than most people around you.
You approach life with a sense of genuine curiosity, always look for ways to improve yourself, and you value heart-centered living.
You’re a deep thinker, empathetic, idealistic, creative, purpose-driven, and might I say a bit of a rebel!
You have a vision for a better world because you believe in Love, and want more out of life—to do more, be more, and give more.
Most importantly, you know that learning to love yourself fiercely is the key to making that happen, and you’re willing to do the work!
How I Can Support You
My #1 goal is to offer you a safe space for support and growth throughout your self-care journey.
My tangible products offer support as companions to your inner work, and the content I create is for education, guidance, and inspiration.
By inner work, I mean cultivating self-love through self-acceptance. That includes but is not limited to:
Honoring your physical body (eating well, resting, moving, and enjoying sensual pleasures), practicing forgiveness, healing emotional wounds, letting go of anything that doesn't serve your highest values, stepping out on faith to answer your calling, expressing yourself authentically, and caring for your mind and spirit through daily affirmations and meditation.
Here on the blog, in our private Facebook group, and your email inbox I'll continue to share relevant content based on your expressed needs and desires.
There's no judgment here—I accept you just as you are.
With that said, I know it’s easy to get distracted from self-care when we get busy. And I know how difficult it can be when we encounter emotionally triggering situations or people.
It's okay if you fall off the wagon for a few days. Honor yourself where you are, and feel you feelings. Then take a breath, and get back on track as soon as possible.
This work isn't always easy, but you can do it!
I’m just keeping it real with you today.
I already know you’re capable of creating the life you desire because you are an expression of infinite wisdom and Love.
So enjoy this time of reflection, have compassion on yourself, and keep you focus on aligning your mindset with what you truly desire.
I encourage you to share freely throughout your experiences, and ask questions. My contact information is posted in the footer throughout this website, so don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Why You Should Journal Daily
You should journal daily if you want to quickly access the wisdom, clarity, and focus of your Higher Self.
The physical act of writing stimulates a unique communication process within the brain that helps you tap into your deepest truth.
In addition to logging daily thoughts, use it to complete a self check-in at least once per month.
Here's a few questions to get started (write for a minimum of 15 minutes):
How are you feeling?
How’s the inner work coming along?
Rate your your level of self-acceptance, self-worth, and emotional balance from 1-5 (least to greatest).
How satisfying are your relationships?
Do you need to forgive? Are you repeating cycles of people-pleasing behavior?
Do you feel stuck with a mindset of victimhood?
